Yahoo! Adell's first four wheeling trip. When Trenton came down a little while back everyone wanted to go four wheeling. I didn't want Adell to be left out so I strapped her in her awesome little backpack and off we went. Since we had so much fun playing in the snow in Payson we decided to have another day in the snow. Adell has been learning how to use a spoon. At meal times we will give her a little taste of peas, carrots, potatoes or whatever else we are eating. After a great day of fishing we went and visited Uncle Robert and Aunt Anne in Pinetope then we all headed out to the ranch the next day. Uncle Robert was nice enough to check out Adell's toe for us. Kevin saw this ledge and had to venture out onto it. I was just taking pictures of this little adventure and couldn't stop cringing. So scary! I don't know how he managed it.As you can see he has a little bit of caution.But his good sense is quickly overcome by his enthusiasm.I guess some good sense returns as he makes his way back, maybe he realized he was wearing sandals the whole time.

Weird name but a great trail. This trail meandered through the forest along the edge of the grand canyon. So you got to enjoy a nice forest hike but also got great views of the Canyon.I think I am actually rolling my eyes at Kevin being a goof ball as he takes this picture.

The forest we were hiking through was burnt by fire about ten years ago and still shows signs of damage. It was amazing to see how the forest just kept on growing around the fire damage.

While Kevin and I were leaving the north rim of the grand canyon we needed a pit stop, so we pulled over and discovered Jacob's Lake Look Out Tower. This tower is used by fireman to spot forest fires. Someone sits in this tower 24 hrs a day during fire season to search for these fires. The fireman on duty this day was very helpful and kind. He was excited to share his knowledge of the area

For some reason huge logs that had fallen down into the canyon and were wedged between the canyon walls were a source of great fascination.They each took turns walking across this huge log. Dallin (and I think Jude) looks on as Brady makes the attempt. Gina, unaware of her son's actions, looked up just in time to see Brady's death defying feat and let out an ear splitting scream!!!

Yea we made it!!! This awesome beach near San Diego California was just what we needed to get away! Soft warm sand, cool waves and peace and quiet. Almost no one was there. I think we saw maybe 12 people all day. So Nice!!

My absolute favorite thing to do was collect shells!!!! You could pick so many up off the sand but it was more fun to search for the really unique shells in the water as the waves came crashing in trying to snatch your treasure away.I have never seen so many shells on one beach!Kevin liked to see how many sand dollars he could collect. As you can see got quite a collection.

Oliver loves to help in the garden. He has so much fun digging up rocks and weeds.Here he is hard at work keeping pests from eating all the crops!The only problem we have with him is that he has a tendency to pee on the peas.

So we finally decided to harvest some of our vegetables. As you can see the carrots and spinach got a little out of hand. We also got the last few broccoli sprouts of the season.We had a potato plant die on us so we harvested a few of the baby potatoes. So Cute!I LOVE OUR GARDEN!!!
